The Scent of the Sea
An extract of Alberto Campo Baeza’s letter to Martin Lejarraga:

The first image I see it’s fascinating. I can see a concrete platform floating above the sea like a dock, palms floating in this sea, a kid and a pool excavated in that strong surface. After that, without losing the amazing first moment, I find out that the sea is not a sea, but it is an infinite field. And the incredible house is a house that is looking at the landscape. It is something marvelous, everything is impregnate with the best architecture.
