A few close friends asked us to act in a commercial premises in the old part of the city of Cartagena. The first sight of the place –without light, late at night- was awful.
The next morning the problem wasn’t so serious and the solution appear clearly: stones were in their place and we only have to add climate conditioning.
At this point, giving up everything that was not a construction problem, we erased superfluous elements, recovered original structural elements, ordered the spaces according to the program and tried the bar showed to the street by the classic door access.
From this first clean and strong approach to the project, the final result is a construction that without details and a rough material treatment. Outside a flat metal door and blue neon, not even a sing.
